Should I have a second photographer?

This is a personal decision. A second photographer can be a valuable addition to your wedding, because that person will be in a supporting role to me, and will offer a separate creative perspective throughout the day. For larger weddings of 150 guests or more, I recommend considering having a second shooter, and for weddings of fewer than 150 guests, it is not necessary. For weddings smaller than 100 guests, I personally recommend having only one photographer so that your wedding can maintain the intimacy of a smaller gathering.

Do you travel to the Cape and islands?

Yes, I certainly do. I have family on Cape Cod and on Martha’s Vineyard, so do not charge for hotel stays. For Vineyard weddings, I charge for ferry travel, inclusive of my car, and can discuss that charge with you. It’s important to have as much notice as is possible for travel to the islands during peak months, summer through fall.

Could you tell me about planning an album?

In the digital era, it’s so common to store and share your image files, but there’s a particular tactile enjoyment from holding an album, flicking through the pages, and having memories viewing those photographs. Admittedly, I still haven’t made my own wedding album yet (I was married in 2017), which is exactly why I encourage all of my clients to consider contributing towards the album design in advance, as motivation to complete the project. A deposit of $500.00 is required at any time to begin the design process. If you’re interested in an album, let’s go.

How do I book?

Contact me with your wedding date and hours of coverage needed to confirm availability. To confirm the booking, I require a non-refundable retainer payment to hold the date, and a signed photography agreement. Dates are only held once the retainer and agreement are received.
